We're Ready to Rise

Well the auditions are over, and Raych and I have done the marathon task of putting names to names. By midnight last night we'd finished. The list is winging its way to the Kelvin Committee right now and I'll be able to give the relevant people the nod fairly soon.

Readthrough and Auditions

The formation of the Resistibles:

Thanks to all who came to read the play and audition. I for one had tremendous fun. The standard was exceptionally high and an image of the Resistibles is starting to form...

Casting decisions will be made after I've seen the final auditonees on Tuesday 25th October (call me if you suddenly want to come and have a go but missed the first two, or even just turn up at 7.30 at the Studio). Once the list has been approved by the Committee we will have a full-blown cast!

The first readthrough as a cast will be held at 4pm on Sunday 30th October. On the following Monday 31st, at 7.30pm, we will be having a two-hour accent session with Bristol University's very own Gary Owston - accent-meister extraordinaire - to obliterate the burr. Blocking rehearsals will then begin on Tuesday or Thursday that week (depending on who's available when), and Sunday 6th November. They'll continue in that pattern until the Christmas break and then we'll really get stuck in in January.

Any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.
